The wait is over, anyone with decent processing power (CPU + GPU). I just talked about how 60fps will always be smoother. It also requires a Cemu state that was capable of 60FPS in BotW. I never said anything about dropping frames, you just assumed i did. Not looks worse on Xbox but runs in smooth 60fps. The reason is games with higher graphical fidelity sell better. Again though, I'm pretty sure the developers know more about the Xbox's capabilities and how their game runs on it than you do, so there must be a reason they chose 30fps. IF the xbox could run the game at a steady 60fps, then of course that would look smoother. So yes, a steady 30fps will look smoother than a game running at 60fps that sometimes drops from 60. When the game initially released in 2017 for both the Wii U and Nintendo Switch, its influential nature was immediately felt. A fan has upscaled a 2017 presentation trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to 4K at 60fps, and the results are stunning. I'm assuming that's why they went with 30fps, to insure that no matter how much is going on in the game, the frame rate will be consistent. A Switch Pro seems even more desirable now.
#PLAY ZELDA BREATH OF THE WILD ON PC 60FPS MOD#
This mod is compatible with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild v1.3.0 or v1.3.1 and requires the latest Cemuhook. What you don't get is that if the xbox can't hold a steady 60fps when a lot is going on in the game, that 60 drops to 45fps, it will be noticeably choppy. Those interested can download this 60fps mod from here. Sagte in Can the Xbox One X run SoT fps | You obviously don't know as much as you think you know.
